dc.description.abstract-enThe paper develops and applies the mathematical model describing dissolution of the monodisperse system of the spherical particles floating on the surface of melt. The theoretically derived equations have been used in order to determine the kinetics quantities of dissolution of carbon in steel. The statistical evalutions concerning the hydrodynamic conditions and the applied model have been performed.en
